4 years is an amazing achievement Niall! Congratulations! 🥳 Strong leaders show vulnerability, it’s a way of connecting our humanity. I’m in recovery too & always find your words (& your struggles) inspiring. You show up for your life. I wish you another “24” & a Happy New Year! I’ll continue to support you & Happy Doggo in 2025 - my 10th anniversary in recovery is coming up in April & I’ll be looking for another special pupper to help out. Keep it up. The dogs need a hero and the rest of us need to believe that there are good people in the world like you. I love hearing about the dogs especially the poor wee souls who have given up until you come into their lives. Watching them transform into happy, loved and cherished creatures is just amazing. Happy Hogmanay to you and Hank and to all your wee furry pals😍😍

Happy New Year Niall. Thank you for all of the videos and messages you do, showing us there is still so much kindness and love in a world that is sometimes extremely dark.

I was lucky enough to get your book Hope as a Christmas present. It made me smile and cry so much. Keep doing what you’re doing you’ve got an army of supporters out there behind you every step of the way. Can’t wait for the day people can come and volunteer at Happy Doggo, I’ll be there with bells on 💕

Thank you so much for sharing this, Niall - I got sober at 41, too. This April (god willing) that will be 16 years ago. I think, as those of us who have got this far, we can definitely show others how life can be so different. Better, even. For all that you do for the dogs, we all love you. For celebrating your sobriety, I send hugs from a fellow traveller trudging the Road of Happy Destiny. Wishing you a happy, healthy, dog-filled 2025, from me and my beagle rescue pup, Maeve. One day at a time. We got this! 🙏🏼
