Oh Niall, I hadnāt finished reading the first paragraph and I was already crying! Iām sat here with my two dogs next to me and can only imagine how you must feel, having had Tina with you for the last 6 months of her life. The best 6 months of her life. I feel (and Iām sure the entire world of people who have followed Tinaās journey with you do, too) as if Tina was āmy girlā also. Hard to explain but I think you know what I mean. Tinaās Hospital will be an amazing legacy for her, you, and all the amazing people you have working with you. Tina, Snoop, Derek, Jumbo and all dogs whose lives have you have touched in some way, shape or form will be so proud of you and what you already have and will achieve in future. Dear Niall, reading your post with tears. How can it be a year since you lost your beloved Tina? You have accomplished so much over the year. Tina would be so very proud of you. She's safe I believe, in Heaven, with Snoop, Derek, Jumbo, Giuseppe & all the other sweet dogs you said goodbye to. The hospital looks incredible. Proud to make a donation. Thank you again for all the wonderful work you do, along with your team. Sybille, Lana, Valeria, Pan, Pi Wut, Rod, Jewells, Jamie, the incredible vets, the ladies who cook the food daily & everyone who helps out in the land & who has adopted your beautiful doggos. I'm so looking forward to watching the building of the hospital in her honour. Niall your eloquence leaves me in tears. To describe the pain and joy and beauty of loving a soul like Tina in the way you have is breathtaking. You are such an inspiration and it probably sounds silly but in my own life as a midwife and supporting a partner with PD, you come to mind often, helping me and inspiring me to get through. I pull myself together and just think, if you can do what you do, I can definitely manage whatever is going on in my life. I just watched your video and cried my eyes out. A grown man in his 50s, snotty and sobbing cuddling my dog. I know that pain of dogs leaving us. We own dogs accepting it, knowing we give them the best lives they can have. But not Tina. Her life was misery until you arrived. Until your intervention in that cycle of cruelty. What you are doing is so important. These acts of courage and kindness helps us all. And it helps every dog by raising awareness. And the love Tina gave you, I think, almost certainly, was your love reflected in the same amount. So on behalf of us dog lovers I thank you with all my heart.
Oh Niall the tears are flowing with this beautiful message to Tina telling her everything you wish for in her name. You are such a wonderful human being, I live alone a bit of an introvert preferring animals to humans and your stories and messages are the highlight of my day.
