I wouldn’t call you selfish Niall. More a man who has found a selfless way to live whilst understanding the absolute necessity to keep spiritually fit. The universe has put you in this spot to be in the trenches with the dogs, as it were. The right man/ woman will come when you least expect it, to do the other stuff you mentioned. Sounds like you are capable of doing the other job but you understand the absolute necessity of keeping spiritually well and helping those in need . Those dogs are lucky to have you. Hey Niall, thank you so much for this well thought out piece. I used to wonder why you constantly post the before pics and videos of the dogs in your care instead of the happier ones and now I understand that it’s your attempt to raise awareness as much as possible especially for newcomers to your account. I can tell you it’s working because I’ve managed to get at least one or two friends to become regular donors. I try to spread the word by re-posting your posts. I don’t know how much it’s helping but I reckon it can’t hurt. And I totally understand why you love getting back the love you bestow on these dogs. Love is best when it’s a two way street - don’t ever feel guilty about that. Thank you again and again from the bottom of my heart. ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my gosh you aren’t selfish - I look for your tweets before I get up in the morning, I often glance at my stirring dogs snuggled up next to me, Pat them on the head and tell them they have no idea how lucky they are 😂
