We’ve always had dogs. We lost our last spaniel when he was 14. We’d never rescued before until my daughter found our lovely girl Dita when she was travelling Malaysia. She was on an island called Langkawi, abandoned and alone at 3 months old near a busy road of traffic.

It wasn’t an easy journey to get her home to the UK, but she’s been with us 2 and half years now. She has her funny little ways and the early days took lots of patience and understanding. But I can honestly say that rescuing her is one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done.

Niall, we love watching your amazing work and I tell Dita about all her doggies cousins that you’re helping everyday!

You’re an actual earth angel 😇

Doggies (and other animals) are very intelligent and very sensitive to a wide array of emotions.

Thank you for giving Larry a chance to decompress and regain his spirit. May his new family continue his quest for wholeness and security.

You made it Larry! 🫶🙌

What a lovely thing to say. And now he doesn’t need to keep leaning anymore. He feels secure and loved enough to relax on his sofa - and watch a bit of telly 🤩

Aww big Larry is the gentlest soul with the most soulful eyes. His rescue was lifesaving because I have no doubt he would have just wasted away. He was just a sad boy who was so misunderstood but thankfully he came into his own and what a beautiful transformation it was. Wishing big Larry nothing but love and a lifetime of happy snuggles on his own couch 🥰💙🥰 💚🤍🧡

Thank you so much for the updates! I absolutely look forward to them-the good and bad. If we could, we would all be on the island helping you. Alas, we can't, but you give us the joy and inspiration of what is happening to the glorious blessings that we have been honored to have on this earth with us. To all of us who have been blessed with rescues-there is a very special bond and love. They know. Through the trials and tribulations, you and all who work with you, go through, the boundless joy of seeing one make it is everything! You are all making a massive difference, it just takes time to snowball. Thank you all-from all of us-for your love, kindness, perseverance, blood , sweat and tears. We are with you every step of the way. Much love from Phoenix.

Such a beautiful note, Lee Ann. I, too, look forward to all of Niall's rescue stories of love, healing and for some very lucky, the best gift...a forever home. I smile, I laugh and I most always cry with tears of both sadness and intense happiness at all the wonders of Niall's and his angels accomplishments. What a wonderful world this would be if we all did what they do. 😊❤️🙏

And I’ll be your friend

I’ll help you carry on…… “

And you did Niall! Now Larry has a loving family he can always lean on.

Thank you for the change you are working towards! We all have to remember that humans are animals. Just b/c humans can't converse with other animals, does not mean that other animals feel or want less then we do. All animals feel love, sadness, joy, fear, comfort & pain. I have always had pets, mostly adopted but a few from breeders when I was younger. Dogs that are adopted definitely act very appreciative, they know the difference between a good life & a bad life!

I trust you and your team to find good homes for these dogs, but I admit I was worried Larry would have a nervous breakdown and stop eating after that long journey! I always thought his reluctance to eat was related to an emotional trauma (a loving owner who died or became unable to care for him). So glad to see him thriving in England.

I too was worried about Larry, it’s so amazing to see him with all the love surrounding him in his new home. Every day I watch you Niall and the team and it’s amazing and beautiful, I can’t wait till Manchester for your show, I do hope I will get the chance to shake your hand and give you a hug? I am the lady who sent you the Tina & Snoop sculpture.
