TEARY EYED Monday morning!!!! This is one of your best stories yet. I was so worried she would only be good at the Land. But, seeing her so peaceful and content is the best start to this week!!! Your story was so well written and is soooo inspiring. I am dealing with more than one topic you mentioned and this is the perfect start to get this week moving in the positive direction. So happy for Britney. Hope there is a link to follow her! Bless you and the Happy Doggo team❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Life’s a marathon not a sprint. I don’t say that lightly thinking of my own journey. Thank you for the dogs and the inspiration for the 2 legged ones. ❤️

That’s such good news, Niall. I was very ill with anorexia for many years and like you, it’s taken a long time to recover. I’m not 100% there but I’m so much better than I was. Time. It really does help.

Thank you. As a writer, of course I find writing helpful so have just published a novel based on my experiences- Hunger by S L Rosewarne. I really hope it will help parents, grandparents, teachers, teenagers and carers if anyone with an ED. But it’s also about what helps, which is the important thing.

Among your other wonderful posts and writings, Niall, this stands out. Britney was abused and scarred but you tended the hope that lay dormant in her. Maybe hope is that last thing to leave us. Thank you so very much for sharing this. And thank you to her new human and all the very best of luck and happiness to them both.

When I first started following you on IG, I thought Britney would never be adoptable. Seeing her blossom has been a joy to watch and now seeing her at peace in her new home is wonderful! Thank you, Niall, and everyone who cared for her and helped her become the best doggo!

Seeing her socialize and walk with other dogs over the past six months was incredible. I'm so glad she became able to give and receive affection. It must have been so hard for her to trust anyone.
