You are an amazing soul, Niall. You remind me very much of Lee Asher of The Asher House in Oregon US; your passion, drive, and commitment to saving animals is very similar and you both get a dopamine rush from saving these sweet fur (or mangy!) babies. I’m humbled to support your work. Happy Sunday from Los Angeles.

You’ve inspired me to do the same in Romania where there are thousands of street dogs neglected and the number goes every month - we are in the process of buying some land in Romania and would love to understand how to partner with you into help the worldwide mission - keep inspiring every day - Brad

I agree with your sentiments completely, to get the support & stop the suffering you need to get people engaged. By showing individual stories you get the engagement & then the interest & commitment in saving suffering in dogs can happen. I’m completely sold on stopping puppies being born into a life of suffering unless they are the lucky few & I donate monthly to assist in my very small way. Keep on doing all you are doing & you so deserve seeing individual dogs have a better future. 💕

Please let us all know as soon as Happy Doggo becomes a 501(c)3 organization in the US! That makes it super easy to donate from a donor-advised fund, and with any luck, those donations will be higher.

When you were rock bottom a few years ago it was feeding and helping the local street dogs that gave you the strength to get better, be better. The individual dog stories are the core and heart of who you are, and it was those stories that brought you to the attention of the entire world. The individual stories are why we love you, they show us your goodness, kindness, vulnerability but they also educate us and allow us to follow your dreams with you. The individual stories are what put a smile on my face every morning or make me laugh out load and even sob crying sometimes too. Don’t ever regret focusing on individual dogs, they are the reason why we are here with you, supporting you and dreaming big with you xx

Look at Buster! Lucky little man! That'd so wonderful to see. It's so inspiring to see people coming together like you, Lana, Sybille, Whackers mum, the lady who draws the pictures and is raising money through the merch, Pi Wat and everyone else giving time, love and support to the dogs. It can be overwhelming when you see the bad things happening in the world and it feels like individuals can't do very much to change things, but you're showing us that everyone can do their bit and make a change for good. 😍

A great article summing up your approach to this enormous worldwide problem, Niall. What you are achieving with your sterilisation project is amazing. The help you give to individual sick and poorly dogs is equally important - the reason you’re doing all of this is because you love dogs. It is your heart of gold that drives you to scoop up these bedraggled and hopeless little souls and nurse them back to health, giving them the quality of life they so deserve.

I love reading their stories and following their progress. It’s heartwarming to see how the dogs you have re-homed are getting a second chance in life. The work you do is an inspiration to so many people around the world. I start my day, every day, keeping up to date with you and the gang on Instagram. Thank you for all you do, dear Niall.

Helping the ones directly put in your path is how it started . You are not picking and choosing life and death but helping all even if it’s just a comfortable sleep for last months of their lives . You have reached so many people and educated them just by your posts . You are growing exponentially. You should be a CNN hero candidate !

Each individual life is precious, Niall. I believe you're absolutely doing the right thing by focusing on both the big and small pictures. We obviously need to do the big, but we also live in the small. That's what keeps us going day to day. So try not to feel guilty about spending your time and resources on the pups like Valentina and Billy--they help keep us focused on the bigger mission, too!

Firstly many thanks for your regular information, posts, letters etc We all know that’s a huge work. I also think that your « community » All around the world trusts you, have faith and will never judge your action. Of course we are emotionaly involved with Billy, Valentina, Mr Floofer, Eve, Cindy, Hank, Britney, Mr Fox, or Stitch’s lifes. Saving this ones and other individual dog seem to be essential to have more energy, faith, hope and to be even more brave. Many many thanks to you and your wonderful team and Friends.

Very well said and with a lot of wisdom earned from the short term goals of reducing suffering of individual dogs, and long term goal of making a big impact by sterilizing every dog. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to your mission. ❣️🙏👍
