I so get you! Your goals are so well laid out. I feel this deep pull myself and constantly feel on the precipice of making this leap. Practically constantly pulling me back. Fear. You are very inspiring. Love the Steve Jobs quote. So true. I get so discouraged when I see heartbreaking scenes of animals in need and don’t have the funds to donate. It makes it feel like I’ll never be able to help. I took some baby steps and now volunteer to transport dogs from overcrowded shelters here in the U.S. to shelters that can truly rehabilitate/rehome here in Washington state. It is so inspiring to see someone living their passion. Would love to volunteer at your place someday. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing your process!!

I absolutely LOVE this. I truly and deeply believe dogs are the greatest gift G-d gave to us. I'm a massive dog lover and I'm also rethinking my life now...within the past 2 months, I lost my mother and my 18-year old Jack Russell, and ended a long-term relationship (when I learned I was being betrayed). It's all enough to make anyone rethink things. I trust this is all happening for a reason, though. There must be a greater meaning in all of it...you actually started this newsletter the same day my mother passed, on January 17. Please let me know if there is anyway I can help you in your quest - it is a worthwhile mission, and it is a beautiful way to spend a life.

Thanks so much for the well wishes! Everybody keeps saying its a great thing to do as if it is some chore but the reality is that they give way more in return and it is an absolute joy!

I was on my Irish feed where I follow the progress of Andrew McGinley who turned the unspeakable tragedy, murder by mother, of his three precious children, into a separate charity for each. I write from Los Angeles and have a big hunk of Irish blood. I saw a post about you and dogs. You are a man after my own heart. Love what you are doing. We have for 40 years on radio,"the Pet Show" and internet, facebook, with Dr. Warren Eckstein, Ph.D. pet behaviorist, down to Earth, served in SE Asia. One can call him on radio show, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or just listen. He is in Santa Monica CA. Show is heard in Guam also! I already wrote him about you. He has helped countless animals. You could communicate with him: mail@thepetshow.com. I think he would love to help you. I must sleep for awhile. Up early to walk with Fiona and Milo and feed them and cats. Thank you! From Barbara Briodin, City of the Angels
