The first thing I do each day is check in on Happy Doggo Land and the team (human and doggo). Then I check the updates for the other dogs around the world. It’s a bright spark to each morning.

While I have four rescue dogs, in the last few weeks I’ve been trapping and rescuing kittens on the farmland around my home.

When I trapped a little boy, I took him to the vet for a checkup (all good!) and the Irish-born vet (I’m in New Zealand) asked me if I had a name. And I realised I did - so Niall the kitten joined the family.

It’s such an honour to be part of this community. Much love to Niall and team from my Niall and family

You and your team are incredible people. Can't quite believe how Cindy has gone from zeppelin to slinky minx! You are totally right ... as individuals we can't all change the world, but perhaps we can each change a little bit for the better. Big hugs all round.

I adore dogs wish I could have one, but alas my circumstances make that impossible. But because of you, Lana, Sybille and your team, I feel part of a whole family of dogs at the land and beyond at their street homes, or in their forever homes. You, and they, are an inspiration and a joy!

I love watching and reading all about the beautiful stories, and even though there has been a few sad loses, there had been so much love given to the end and that's what matters. I'm so proud to be subscribed and giving to help this wonderful cause 💗

Thank you Niall, you are so right about all the millions of good things happening every day. I stopped watching the news generally after the pandemic and just focus on what's around me, walking my dog, chatting to folks, smelling the roses and all that. I watch all the happy doggo vids every morning and laugh and cry along with you and all the other thousands of kind, caring and positive people. Lots of love to you and the gang - oh, we are going to miss Mr Fox et al! 🦊🐕🐕‍🦺🐶💖

You said it all right there in your article, Niall. It’s so important to remind ourselves of all the good in the world when we feel swamped by all the evil. Thank you for everything you do. You are a shining light in the darkness ⭐️

Thanks for such a teriffic update. You and the team you created and connected to to other rescues has had truly amazing results. I'm so proud of you, and of them and of us. Thank you for posting this. (I can't get of the so skittish puppies Sophie Socks and her sister - rehomed!? And Cindy? Billy? and all the others? Incedible)

I join the many here to express gratitude for what you do. In a news cycle dominated by hate and violence, your actions with your team are a bright point of light.

This is a truly uplifting update. Wonderful news from every direction. Thank you to everyone who's involved with the welfare of the dogs and Tina's huge hospital mission. Bit by bit great things are happening. It's true, there does seem to be sadness in the world but I do believe in us all doing little deeds of kindness for each other and animals truly make a big impact. First thing I do every day is check Niall's and HappyDoggo accounts to see what's going on. I love being part of this lovely community ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I too, just like everyone else in this community look forward your daily stories and happy doggo also. As you said in an online world that can be so dark and gloomy, your positive light shines through. Wishing you, all the team and extended community a good week ahead 💗💗

Ps I also wanted to say it's so lovely to get to meet all the team that are involved in the behind the scenes work x

Absolutely. In these times the encouragement to stay positive for others and find joy is what the human and pup community at the land teach us.
