Today is a big day towards really going to another level in terms of scaling up to help the dogs here in Thailand….I started accepting donations from the community.
People have been asking me if they could help from day 1 across all channels but I wanted to do it right and have it well thought through. I’ve started a campaign which over the next 6-8 weeks will…
Neuter 50 dogs
Increase feeding from 40 to 80 per day
Allow me to purchase preventative medicines
Take more dogs like Bella and Jumbo to the vets
You can see all the detail and donate here. I also made a short video explaining how this will work…
I’m a little blown away by the response to everything I have been sharing about this journey. Having run advertising campaigns and started businesses you get a sense for when things are going to take off and out of everything I have done in 15+ years nothing has felt like this before in terms of traction.
I think that comes down to 3 very simple factors…
Dogs. The people who do love them are super passionate
Timing. The news has been horrendous for the last 2 years. The stories of dogs making recoveries is the uplifting feeling we all need
Video. Every piece of content I produce is done on an old iPhone 11 with free editing tools. It’s raw and unpolished and I think that is what people like. They feel like they are there with the dogs. That tech (vertical video and stories) and the platforms to distribute are the absolute sweet spot right now for content.
More than anything I am now excited about people having some ownership of the project. Instead of just looking in the community will now be helping save the lives of dogs on a daily basis. Thats going to be powerful.
I’d love if you wanted to get involved. $5 will feed 10 of the dogs. $500 would neuter 10 dogs and saved 100s of doggy lives in the long run. Of course you can also just watch the dogs and enjoy the journey too!
I’m a happy man tonight. Lots more dogs are going to be saved.
